Round and Round we go
It wouldn't be summer without the Webster County Fair and a hot, sticky summer night on which to attend for the simply pleasure of a yearly, greasy, mustard covered corn dog and lemonade. Why you ask would one want to spend $16.00 on three corn dogs and $4.00 on a lemonade plus the cost of admission, well for the simple reason of pleasing your nephews and seeing them smile the cheesiest smile as they go round and round on the rides and come back each time begging for more.
Our little Matney bug got to enjoy her first ride at the young age of 15 weeks. The only one that was Mommy approved since I had to ride with her the Merry Go Round and at first she was a bit dazed, but by the end she was smiling and cooing--until the Division 3 pulling trucks started up and scared her to death.
All in all the fair was a success even though it was 95 degrees and we were all sweating like pigs.
