With each passing day we grow to love our little angel baby more and more. Her sweet innocent smiles when you pick her up out of her crib or her coos and cuddles when you come in to the room; make waking up each morning and coming home at night all that more enjoyable. It is hard to get through the day at work without her, but I know that working will all us to provide her with the things she needs in life and a few luxuries along the way, just as my parents did for me and Abby.

It is hard to believe that as I write this my little one is now 3 months old and 1 week. She is growing up so fast and changing every day. She talks all the time when she isn't sleepy! She wakes up in the best mood every morning and will just smile at you from her bed. Even if we think she needs to lay there longer because she keeps closing her eyes and dozing off, if we see that smile we give in and get her up to love on her. She still loves her swing, though she is almost getting too big for it and has upgrade to her exersaucer in the last week. When it is time for bed she will fuss a little as if to say, "time to lay me down mommy!" and the minute she is snuggled with her blankey and she has found her thumb, she is off to sleep. We are so blessed that she is only getting up one time at night and sometimes sleeps all night long. Over the last month and a half she has become a very flexible little angel as she has stayed with her Nannie B, Granny Kem, and Mama every day. She loves them all so much and we are so thankful they were able to help take care of her while we waited for the opening at daycare.
Our little girl becomes a big girl on Monday as she starts her first day of daycare. I am okay with this as I know that the girls at the daycare are completely in love with babies and are looking forward to finally having a little girl to take care of. Matney is going to know how to hold her own as she has all boy cousins and will go to school with all boys! Nothing like having a tough, independent little girl. Daddy will be so happy to have two of us. (7/10/10)
