Happy Birthday, Matney!



Just a few hours old and already loving on her daddy!



Today my sweet baby girl, Matney, turned 2!  Where did two whole years go?  It is hard to believe that we have been blessed as parents for two years already but what a blessing it has been.

There have been difficult, trying days but no matter what the day brings, I am always thankful for my little blessing each and every moment.  I always had a wonderful example for a mother growing up - be it my own mom or my aunts or my grandma's, but nothing prepared me for the love you would feel by becoming a mother.  I pray that my sweet girl is blessed each and every day, is healthy and strong and grows in to a beautiful, independent woman (she has no hope on this--it runs in the Carpenter-Davis blood). 

Happy Birthday, Matney!  You are Mommy's pride and joy.
